The Canadian Journal of Poverty Law is an academic publication dedicated to issues relating to poverty law. The Journal publishes articles, case comments and book reviews on social justice, residential tenancies, human rights, the intersection of law and policy, and other related areas of interest to scholars and legal practitioners.

The Journal is published online. No subscription is necessary.

The Journal publishes 1 to 2 issues per year. The Journal aims to publish its inaugural issue in early 2012.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Canadian Journal of Poverty Law is seeking scholarly manuscripts in relation to poverty law. The Journal welcomes topics of international, Canadian, provincial and local interest. No submission is guaranteed publication, including those that have been revised and resubmitted.
 
The Journal does not consider manuscripts that are under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitting authors must indicate that the manuscript is submitted for the exclusive consideration of the Journal. 

The Journal accepts submissions in English and French.

Each issue will highlight a legal clinic or organization related to poverty law. The clinic or organization will be invited to submit an article discussing its background, services, successes, challenges and new directions. If your clinic or organization would like to be highlighted, please contact the Editor-in-Chief.
